Redfern
An ongoing personal design project exploring identity, heritage, and storytelling through clothing, accessories, and illustration. Rooted in my own history and experience as an Irish designer, the work draws on memory, place, and cultural references, translating them into wearable pieces and visual narratives.
The project currently includes a series of graphic T-shirts, embroidered hats, and original illustrations, with each piece acting as part of a growing visual language. The aim is to build an evolving body of work that merges fashion, illustration, and personal storytelling, allowing the project to expand organically over time.
T-Shirts
The T-shirt designs use illustration, typography, and graphic composition to explore themes connected to Irish identity, memory, and personal history.
Each design is approached as both a standalone graphic and part of the wider Redfern Clothing visual system, balancing wearability with storytelling.
Hats
The hats extend the visual language of the project into accessories, using embroidered and graphic elements to reinforce the brand’s evolving identity.
These pieces are designed to feel both personal and collectible, acting as small expressions of the wider project narrative.
Illustrations
The illustrations sit at the core of the project, acting as the conceptual foundation for the clothing and accessories.
They draw from heritage, symbolism, memory, and personal references, helping shape the visual direction of the ongoing collection and future product development.
